Information We Collect
Vehicle Information
Year, make, model, and mileage you provide during setup. Stored locally on your device.
Chat Messages
Conversations with Clutch AI are stored locally and sent to Google Gemini API for processing. Messages are not stored on Google's servers beyond processing.
Photos
Quote and damage photos are processed by Google Gemini API for analysis. Photos are not stored on external servers.
Location
Used only when you access Service Locator to find nearby mechanics. We don't store or track your location history.
Service Records
Maintenance history you enter is stored locally on your device only.
How We Use Your Information

Apple MapKit
Powers the Service Locator. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data Storage & Security
All personal data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. We do not maintain external databases of user information. Your data is protected by your device's security features including encryption and biometric locks.
Your Rights
You can:
- Delete all app data via Settings > Reset App
- Revoke location permissions in iOS Settings
- Clear chat history at any time
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
Children's Privacy
Clutch is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
